hoosier women artist contest 
Weathering the Storm, was selected by the Hoosier Women Artists Contest to hang in the office of a public official at the Indiana Statehouse for 1 year! 

The annual competition, established in 2008, celebrates the importance of the arts in Indiana’s communities and showcases the work of talented female artists throughout the state.
Selected artwork of the Hoosier Women Artists contest will be displayed in the offices of Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch and Indiana Treasurer Of State Kelly Mitchell at the Statehouse for one year to be enjoyed by the thousands of school groups, visitors and staff who explore the building annually.

Additionally, pieces of art will also be selected by First Lady Janet Holcomb*, Indiana Secretary of State Connie Lawson, Indiana Auditor of State Tera Klutz and Superintendent of Public Instruction Jennifer McCormick (Indiana Department of Education) to display in their respective offices. 

*First Lady Janet Holcomb will display artwork at the Governor's Residence.
